Seamus Power remains in line to appear at his first Masters next month after moving up in the golf world rankings published this week.
The world's top 50 in the week starting 28 March are guaranteed their place, and the Waterford native is now 48th in the official rankings list with a couple of weekends of tournament play ahead.
Power finished in a tie for 33rd at the weather impacted Players Championship on Monday, which helped him to move up a further two places in the rankings.
He has had a good season so far, having ended last year in 72nd, but two top-10 placings, and a further two top-15 finishes, have seen him shoot up the list.
Elsewhere, Shane Lowry has stayed in 36th after finishing in a tie for 13th at Sawgrass, while Rory McIlroy is down one place to seventh after finishing alongside Power on three under par.
