A mixed second round at the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore saw Leona Maguire lose further ground on the leaders.

Maguire started the day three shots off the lead but an up and down round that included three birdies and three bogeys saw her eventually sign for a level-par 72.

That saw Maguire drop to six shots off the pace and realistically ends her hopes of being involved at the business end of things over the weekend.

World number one Jin Young Ko is making up for lost time in what is only her first tournament back since taking a three-month break from golf.

Ko moved to top of the leaderboard for a share of the lead after she shot a 5-under 67 to move her to -8 for the tournament.

The South Korean star is level with compatriot Amy Yang, who also signed for a round of 67.

Brooke Henderson, Atthaya Thitikul and Meghan Kang (69) are all tied for third, one stroke behind the leaders.
