Séamus Power dropped from first to seventh after carding a third round of 74 at the AT&T Pebble Beach ProAm.
The Waterford golfer failed to back up his excellent score of 64 on Friday, but still at 13 under is only two shots adrift of joint-leaders Tom Hoge, Andrew Putnam and Beau Hossler. A shot further back are the trio of Patrick Cantlay, Joel Dahmen and Jordan Spieth.
Power began the day with a dropped shot at the first, but recovered to make consecutive birdies on three and four. That good work was undone with bogeys on five, seven and nine. And even though he birdied the tenth, the 34-year-old dropped two more shots on the way home.
Beau Hossler recorded an eagle on his way to a bogey-free round of 65, with Putnam and Hoge shot matching four-under 68s as those at the head of the field moved to 15 under.
Patrick Cantlay (68), Jordan Spieth (63) and Joel Dahmen (66) sit tied for fourth at 14 under, one stroke back.
Australian Jason Day (70) and Denny McCarthy (66) are a shot behind Power on 12 under.
