Seamus Power posted his third consecutive round in the 60s to share second place at the RSM Classic in Georgia.

The Waterford native played well in windy conditions at the Sea Island track to shoot three under to move to 13 under par, and sits three shots off the leader Talor Gooch.

Power opened with a par before dropping a shot on the second hole, however, the 2016 Olympian bounced back with two birdies to turn on 11 under.

A further birdie on 13 was followed up with an impressive hole-out eagle on the 15th, however, Power handed one back on the 16th and parred the final two holes to get home in 67.

"Yeah, struck it nicely, landed on my spot," said Power, speaking about the chip in for eagle.

"I thought it was actually going to blow, like the wind was going to blow it, maybe miss it right, but it stayed straight and just kind of caught the edge of the hole.

"Yeah, it was nice, a huge bonus, obviously, on a day like today to pick up the two shots."

Power will play his final round alongside the leader and fellow second placed man, Sebastián Muñoz, as he bids for his second PGA Tour title in 2021 following his victory at the Barbasol Championship in July.

The final group tees off at 16:15 (Irish time) on Sunday.
