Leona Maguire carded six birdies en route to an impressive 66 to move back into contention at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship on the LPGA Tour.
The Cavan native dropped off the pace with a second round 71 on Friday, however, Maguire shot a flawless six-under in the third round to move to within two shots of the lead.
Starting the day on six under, Maguire moved up the leaderboard with back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes, before adding further birdies on six and eight to turn on ten under par for the tournament.
Two more birdies would follow at either end of the back nine as Maguire moved into the top five with the leaders still out on the course.
By the end of play, Maguire was in a share for seventh place with four sharing the lead on -14 under, including world number one Nelly Korda and overnight leader Celine Boutier. Nasa Hataoka and Jin Young Ko make up the front-running quartet.
