Adam Schenk rose two places up the leaderboard in Las Vegas with a 66 giving the American a one-shot lead going into the final round of the Shriners Children's Open.

The 29-year-old dropped two shots across his first five holes on Saturday, but strung together three birdies to reach the turn two under.

Another three coming back moved him to 18 under overall and allowed him to hold a slender lead over Matthew Wolff, who eagled the 16th in his round of 65.

Seamus Power is the best of the Irish. The Waterford man hit six birdies to get around in 69 and move to 10 under par, which is good enough for a tie for 24th place.

Graeme McDowell is further back his 74 saw him slip to three under par.

Andrew Putnam, joint overnight leader Chad Ramey and the winner of last week’s Sanderson Farms Championship Sam Burns are two shots off the pace, while England’s Harry Hall signed for a 68 for 14 under and a share of seventh.
