Sahith Theegala is within striking distance of his first PGA Tour title after carding a five-under 67 to take a one-shot lead into the final round of the Sanderson Farms Championship.
The 23-year-old got off to a slow start in Mississippi on Saturday with just one birdie on the front nine.
However, he picked up four shots down the stretch to storm into the lead on 18 under par.
Hot on the rookie's heels is fellow American Cameron Tringale, who fired a 10-under 62 to join compatriots Denny McCarthy, Sam Burns and Cameron Young in the hunt on 17 under.
After heading into the weekend with a share of the lead alongside Theegala and Nick Watney, Will Zalatoris fell out of contention with an even 72 on Saturday.
A bogey on the first was the sole blemish for Scotland's Russell Knox, as the only Briton to survive the weekend cut shot seven birdies en route to a third round of six-under 66, putting him five shots off the pace on 13 under.
