Calum Hill has won his maiden European Tour title at the Cazoo Classic in Kent, while Niall Kearney was best of the Irish.

The Scottish golfer had three Challenge Tour titles to his name when he went out as part of the final group on Sunday trailing by two.

It was a close finish, at one point there was a four-way tie, but Hill came back into it to finish at 16 under, and a shot clear of Alexander Levy.

Hill shot a final-round 67, while French golfer Levy carded a 64.

Kearney finished on seven under in a tie for 35th after a final-round 72. The Dubliner's round included four birdies and the same number of bogeys as he struggled to climb up the leaderboard on the final day.

Jonathan Caldwell meanwhile enjoyed his joint-strongest round of the tournament with a 70 that lifted the Northern Irishman up to two under and into a tie for 55th.
