Seamus Power is six shots off the lead at the John Deere Classic after carding a second-round 67.

The Waterford native shot seven birdies and a trio of bogeys at TPC Deere Run to move onto seven under par.

Power is tied for 24th in Illinois, where Luke List leads by one shot thanks to a superb eight-under 63 on Friday.

The American followed his opening 66 with an impressive bogey-free round featuring seven birdies in an eight-hole stretch to be at 13-under heading into the weekend.

A shot back was Colombian Sebastian Munoz, who started the day as co-leader before recording four birdies and 14 pars en route to a 67.

Munoz's fellow first-round leader Chesson Hadley of the US headed a group of seven players in third at 11-under including 2016 winner Ryan Moore.
