Australia's Stephanie Kyriacou carded a six-under-par 66 to claim the lead after the first round of the Big Green Egg Open.
Kyriacou recorded eight birdies and two bogeys at Rosendaelsche Golf Club to lead by two shots from England's Lily May Humphreys, with Wales' Lydia Hall part of a four-strong group a stroke further back on three under.
Humphreys only turned professional at the start of the month, but came into the event on the back of her first victory in the paid ranks in the Golf Flanders LET Access Series Trophy last week in Belgium.
"Last week was great, it was nice to get myself in contention," the 19-year-old said. "Only being a professional for a few weeks it was nice to get near the top again and finish it off. It gave me a big confidence boost.
"I just came out and tried to do the same routine as I did over my shots last week and just see what happens because the course is similar.
"Last week it was quite narrow off the tee, like today, and you just need to keep the ball in play and take your opportunities when you can, and I did that pretty well."
