Cavan's Leona Maguire will take a healthy lead into the weekend at the Meijer LPGA Classic after following up an opening round 65 with a 64 on Friday.
Maguire, starting on the back nine, had five birdies before the turn to sit on twelve under through 27 holes.
The 26-year-old carded bogeys on the first and second, but recovered with another three birdies and an eagle to finish the round in eight-under 64 and 15 under for the tournament.
Su Oh is next best on 12 under, while Lindy Duncan is third a shot further back.
Joint overnight leader Charley Hull could not match her Thursday form, signing for a 70 to sit tied for ninth on nine under in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Stephanie Meadow missed the cut by three shots after shooting a one-under 71 to get back to level par.
"Everybody is going low. You know you have to go low," Maguire said.
"There is not really time to look around or even look behind. It's sort of keep your foot down and keep going, make as many birdies as you can.
"You can't really protect a lead.
"You can't just try and make pars and stuff. You have to sort of go for everything. You have to hit a lot fairways out here. It's tough when you get in the rough. I knew all about that on one and two."
3-under thru 12.

Astonishing 2nd round 64 to follow a 65 in the first. @leona_maguire leads by 3 entering 3rd round of the $2.3m Meijer Classic on the LPGA. No Irish woman has ever won a title on either the LPGA or Ladies European Tour. Steadily moving towards history making territory... pic.twitter.com/QKTLfQR6E3
