Finland's Matilda Castren claimed her maiden LPGA tournament win after a round of 65 at the Mediheal Championship in California, while Leona Maguire secured a top-ten finish.
Castren went into the final round two strokes behind Taiwan’s Min Lee but carded three straight birdies to open Sunday and had an eagle and fourth birdie before the turn.
The 26-year-old picked up another shot at the 18th, while Lee’s dropped shot at the 17th appeared to seal the trophy for the Finn.
Lee’s 69 saw her finish on 12 under, two shots behind Castren.
Cavan's Maguire and England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff were among four players tied for ninth on six under after final rounds of 70 and 65 respectively.
