Padraig Harrington will be able to take part in the Genesis Invitational at Riviera in Los Angeles after being given an afternoon tee-time which will allow him to complete a mandatory 10-day quarantine for Covid-19.

The Ryder Cup captain was forced to withdraw from AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last week after testing positive for Covid-19, but his 10 days isolation ends on Thursday morning.

Harrington has been isolating in a hotel room in California and that period will be completed tomorrow morning just a matter of hours before he is due to tee off in the second-last match on the course alongside Russell Henley and Brian Stuard.

The Irishman stated his intention to play as long as he continues to feel well and have no symptoms.
