Cavan's Leona Maguire finished strongly with a 67 at the ShopRite LPGA Classic as England's Melissa Reid won the tournament at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club course in Galloway, New Jersey.
Maguire carded five birdies, including consecutive ones on the 10th and 11th holes, to finish on seven under in a tie for 24th, 12 shots behind Reid who completed her tournament on 19 under, making up for her failure to convert a 54-hole lead into victory at the Cambia Portland Classic last month, when she finished in a tie for fifth.
Reid ended two shots clear of second placed Jennifer Kupcho. Jennifer Song was third, a further shot behind on 16 under.
Maguire's fellow Irish challenger Stephanie Meadow finished with a 72 to end on level par overall in a tie for 58th, 19 shots down on the eventual winner.
