Sergio Garcia shot a clean round of 66 to take a share of the lead going into the final round of the Sanderson Farms Championship.

The 2017 Masters winner picked up three shots on the front nine and another three after the turn, and two-putted for a par on the 18th to sit 14-under for the tournament.

Four inches was the difference between Garcia taking the solo lead but the Spaniard will go into Sunday alongside Cameron Davis and JT Poston at the top of the tree in Missisippi.

Davis strung together five birdies at the start of his third round, finishing on 63 for the day and 202 for the tournament, while Poston found the hole from 12 feet on the 18th to join them.

The trio have a one shot lead over Brandt Snedeker and Kristoffer Ventura, while three Americans are tied for sixth including overnight leader Keegan Bradley, who went round in 73.

Scotland's Martin Laird carded a par-72 to sit tied for 25th on seven under.
