Austin Ernst produced a brilliant final-round eight-under-par 63 to to snatch the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship title.
American Ernst headed into the last day four shots behind leader Anna Nordqvist but she turned on the style at the Pinnacle Country Club, notching ten birdies to soar to the top of the leaderboard, finishing two ahead of the Swede on 20-under.
"I knew I needed a really low score," said Ernst.
"I kind of thought at the beginning of the week that 20-under would win and I think that's what I got to, so guess I was right on that one. But you knew that out here you needed to attack and you couldn't be afraid and couldn't just kind of middle-the-green it all day."
Stephanie Meadow signed off on six-under after shooting a 70 on Sunday, a tie for 59th.
Leona Maguire - who squeezed inside the cut mark on Saturday - finished with a 70 that left her on one-under for the tournament. She was 77th overall.
The event was the the first of five opportunities for those players not qualified to earn an invite to this year's US Women's Open in December.
South Korea's Jenny Shin (-15) and Australian Katherine Kirk (-14) both earned spots at the Major.
