Stephanie Meadow endured a frustrating second round at the LPGA's NW Arkansas Championship, as she ended the day 11 shots behind leader Anna Nordqvist.
Two late birdies saw the Antrim woman finish on 5 under par, after bogeys on 4, 9 and 13.
She'll be joined on the final day of action by Leona Maguire, who finished just inside the cut on two under par.
The Cavan-native shot a 69, despite a double-bogey on the 13th.
For leader Nordqvist, the gap to the chasing pack is three strokes after an exemplary round which saw her birdie half the holes.
Afternoon thunderstorms saw a break in play, but it didn't affect the concentration of the Swede who is yet to drop a shot in the tournament.
"I played really solid both today and yesterday," she said.
"Got off to a great start. Had a lot of good opportunities. Made a few putts early and just kept going. Felt like I hit my irons really well."
