Joost Luiten holds a two-shot lead at the halfway stage of the Euram Bank Open in Austria, with Irish interest in the competition over.

Dutchman Luiten followed his opening 65 at Golf Club Adamstal with a second-round 63 to reach 12-under par.

France's Joel Stalter and Sweden's Philip Eriksson are his closest rivals, with Scotland's Chris Robb two shots further back in a four-strong group tied for fifth.

There will be no more Irish players in action in Austria however.

Michael Hoey was best of the Irish, carding a 72 to finish one-over par, two shots outside the cut.

Niall Kearney finished a further three shots back, with Gavin Moynihan's finishing up on +6.

A double-bogey on the last saw Robin Dawson finish on nine-over par.
