The Curtis Cup has been rescheduled for a second time in order to avoid a clash with the Solheim Cup next year.
This year's cancellation meant the event, in which Ireland and Great Britain's amateur women take on the United States, was due to be played in early September 2021, but that would have overlapped with the bigger event for the professionals.
As a result, the clash at Conwy in Wales will now take place between 26 and 28 August next year.
"We have listened to the feedback we received about the rescheduled dates for the Curtis Cup in 2021 and looked again at the schedule," said Duncan Weir, executive director of golf development and amateur championships at the R&A.
"We have moved the match forward by a week and introduced a Saturday finish to enable it to slot in ahead of the Solheim Cup."
