Stephanie Meadow is six shot off the lead at the Women's Australian Open after carding a solid second-round 72, but Leona Maguire has missed the cut.

Meadow is four-under-par having followed up yesterday's three-under 70 with another good round.

Jodi Ewart Shadoff is tied for the lead on ten-under at Royal Adelaide. The 32-year-old Englishwoman, who held a one-stroke overnight lead, remains on course for her first major title.

Ewart Shadoff was joined by Inbee Park, who went round in 69, with both players firing birdies at the last two holes in a brilliant finish to the second day.

American Jillian Hollis lies one shot further back on nine-under for the tournament after matching South Korean Park's four-under bogey-free round.

Meanwhile Cavan 25-year-old Maguire followed her opening 74 with a 75 that left her on three-over-par, three shots outside the cut mark.
