Meadow shot a three-under 70 to move to -8 overall, five shots behind Swedish leader Madelen Sagstrom and in a nine-way tie for 11th place.
Cavan woman Maguire is one further back after a second successive 69, secured without dropping a shot.
In the men's event, Jonathan Caldwell is 10 under par after his second round 67.
Caldwell is in sixth place, four shots behind the leader, Frenchman, Robin Sciot-Siegrist, who leads Travis Smyth by two shots.
Cormac Sharvin is joint 29th after a flawless 67 left him on seven under.
Defending champion David Law missed the cut by one shot after the Scot signed for rounds of 68 and 72.
