South Korea's Byeong Hun An completed two rounds of six-under 66 to take a two shot lead after at the weather-plagued Sanderson Farms PGA Championship.

An had to play 25 holes on Friday, after around half the field were forced off the Country Club early on Thursday due to rain.

The former US Amateur champion finished his first round strongly, birdying three of his last seven holes, then birdied the first four holes of his second round.

He followed that with his first bogey of the tournament, before three more birdies in his last 11 holes took him to 12-under overall.

Ireland's Seamus Power played 11 holes of his second round and currently stands at eight-under.

When the weather intervened again - with bad light stopping play with around half the field still on the course - the leader held a two-stroke lead over a group of four Americans - JT Poston, George McNeill, Scottie Scheffler and Tom Hoge.

Australian Cameron Percy was well poised at 9-under with 11 holes played.
