Stephanie Meadow shot consecutive rounds in the 60s to move to eight under at the Cambia Portland Classic.

The Jordanstown native sits in a tie for 23rd place, having started the day in a share of 106 nine shots off leader Hannah Green heading into the third round of the LPGA Tour event.

Meadow, however, sits just four shots off second place as Sei Young Kim and Sung Hyun Park are both on 12 under at the half-way stage.

Starting on the back nine, Meadow began with a bogey to drop back to two under par, but made the turn on four under thanks to three birdies and just the one further bogey.

But a flawless inward nine saw Meadow gain shots on the first, fourth, fifth and ninth to shoot up the leaderboard ahead of Saturday's play.

Meadow's consistency was evident from her stats as the former Curtis Cup player hit 15 out of 18 greens in regulation and hit 10 of 14 fairways.
