American JT Poston has a one-stroke lead at the Barbasol Championship in Kentucky after carding -10 on the opening day.
"It was one of those days everything clicked," Poston told the PGA Tour website.
"Hit it good, hit a lot of fairways, a lot of greens. I was hitting it so good I didn't really have that many lengthy birdie putts that I made until the last hole."
Canadian Nick Taylor is close behind Poston in second place on -9.
"I hit every green, I didn't miss a fairway, so it was very solid tee to green and putts were going in," Taylor said.
American Wes Roach is third on -8 after the first round.
After that, there are eight players tied for fourth on -7; Americans Kelly Kraft, Kramer Hickok, D.J Trahan, Jim Herman, Roberto Castro, Bill Haas and Josh Teater, and Colombian player Sebastian Munoz. Waterford's Seamus Power started with a three-under 69.
