'It's all become pretty real now' - Portrush is ready

RTÉ Sport's Dave Kelly has been out and about in Portrush getting the views of locals ahead of this week's Open Championship.

Indeed, there is a sense of pride in the Antrim town that they have the course to stage such a prestigious event, while acknowledging all the hard work and preparation that has been undertaken ahead of Thursday's opening round.

Of course, the financial and tourism benefits to the area are also important, not just for this week, but for years to come.

We also hear from Tiger Woods, who said that "he's never been this far north before", while US commentator Bob Bubka wonders why 68 years have passed since Portrush last staged the event
