England's Thomas Plumb and Dane John Axelsen shared top spot in stroke play qualifying at the Amateur Championship in Ireland.
The duo finished at four-under-par after two rounds across the links of Portmarnock and the Island near Dublin as the tournament heads into match play.
Yeovil golfer Plumb is the leading qualifier on back nine count back, the 20-year-old having carded a one-under 71 at Portmarnock.
Axelsen, meanwhile, followed his 70 at the Island with a three-under 69 over Portmarnock in the final group of the day.
With the cut falling at four over par, 76 players qualified so a preliminary round of match play will be held at Portmarnock on Wednesday morning.
The winner of Saturday's 36-hole final will gain exemptions into the Open Championship at Royal Portrush as well as the 2020 US Open and, by tradition, an invitation to play in the Masters.
