Matt Every will carry a one-shot lead into the final day of the AT&T Byron Nelson after a rain-hit third round was suspended due to darkness.

After a six-hour rain delay, American Every opened his third round with an eagle and had four birdies to reach the turn at six-under 30 and move to 18 under for the tournament before play was called for the day.

Padriag Harrington carded his lowest round of the three days with seven birdies on his way to a 66. He sits nine-under par, while Seamus Power had three holes to play before play was halted.

The Waterford native was level par for the back nine and picked up a birdie at the turn (the first hole) before dropping shots at 4 and five. He is on two-under par.

Sung Kang, who matched the Trinity Forest course record with a 61 in the second round, was also part of the lead group through nine holes, sitting one shot off the pace after a bogey on the par-three eighth.

Tyler Duncan sits in third on 15 under and will also have 27 holes to complete on Sunday.

The weather did little to dampen Nicholas Lindheim's day, however, with the American within a chance of shooting his own 61. The American - at nine under for the day through 15 holes - entered the day in 44th but moved in a tie for seventh.

Scotland's Martin Laird was at one under for the day after 10 holes and dropped into a share of 16th place.
