Leona Maguire had to settle for a share of fourth spot at the IOA Championship in California.
The Cavan golfer took a one shot lead going into the final round but had an awful front nine that included four bogeys and a double-bogey en route to a round of 77.
In the end, she finished just two shots behind the winner Jillian Hollis from the USA. Hollis posted a four over par round of 74 on Sunday, with a birdie on the 15th and an eagle on the par five 16th proving decisive in her one-shot victory.
Meanwhile at the KIA Classic, Stepanie Meadow signed off with a closing 74 to finish on one under.
Japan's Nasa Hataoka, on 18 under, ran out the winner after a round of 67. She finished three shots clear of the field.
