It is proving to be quite a good week for Waterford's Seamus Power, who made only his second cut since October to make it to the weekend at 'The Fifth Major'.

Early on Saturday he followed up his second round 67 by scoring his first ever hole-in-one on the PGA Tour.

His ace at the 155-yard third was the third of the tournament bur only the fourth ever at the third hole at TPC Sawgrass during the Players Championship.

The 32-year-old did not show too much emotion as he plucked his ball from the hole and he went on to card a one-over 73 and currently sits in a tie for 55th place on -2.
