Leona Maguire shot one-under-par in the second round of the ISPS Handa Vic Open to make the cut at the co-sanctioned event in Australia.
The Cavan native sits on level par going into the weekend and found herself on the cut mark at the half-way stage as she followed up her one-over opening round with a 72 on the par 73 Creek Course.
Starting on the back nine, Maguire got to two under early in her round with a run of three birdies in four holes from the 12 to the 15th, however, two further bogeys has left the former amateur world number one 13 shots off the lead.
Stephanie Meadow suffered a very disappointing second day, shooting a five-over-par 77 to miss the cut by two shots. The Jordanstown native had opened well at the Geelong event, shooting three under on Thursday.
The tournament is co-sanctioned by the European Tour and LPGA and features men and women playing on the same courses at the same time, for equal prize money.
American Kim Kaufman carded a second consecutive 66 to reach 13 under and lead by two shots from Japan's Haru Nomura, with Australian Su Oh a further shot back.
England's Charlotte Thomas is four shots off the pace after a second successive 68, but compatriot Felicity Johnson, who held a two-shot lead overnight, could only manage a 74 to finish six under.
