Leona Maguire remained in the mix at the Ladies European Tour Final Qualifying tournament in Morocco on Tuesday, shooting a two-under-par 70 that left her eight-under overall and five shots off the leader.
The top 60 players [of 115] after the fourth round will progress to Thursday's final round, with the top five after that gaining Category 5c membership of the European tour.
That would give those players a ticket to most of the tour's events in 2019. Finishing between sixth and 25th would be rewarded with a Category 8 membership. Although it wouldn't get Maguire on to all the big ones, shoe would be eligible to play in several.
The 24-year-old from Cavan is in a four-way tie for fourth alongside India's Astha Madan, Dulcie Sverdloff of England and her compatriot Sian Evans.
Another English competitor, Bronte Law, carded an incredible 10-under 62 to take the lead on 13-under.
Law set a Ladies European Tour record by sinking nine birdies in a row in Marrakesh. She's one shot ahead of Sweden’s Linnea Strom.
