Four players are tied for top spot at the Barbasol Championship - after Brittany Lincicome missed the cut.
The 32-year-old, who became just the sixth woman to compete in a PGA Tour event, shot an impressive one-under 71 in her second round on Saturday, which included an eagle on the penultimate hole.
But added to her score of six-over 78 in the opening round, Lincicome found herself nine shots short of making the cut and becoming just the second woman to do so at a men's event.
She later spoke of an "awesome experience", and is quoted on the LPGA website as saying: "The fans were incredible. They were cheering for me every time I hit a shot, every time I got it in the fairway, got it on the green."
She added: "I've learned to kind of play through the nerves this week, which is great. Just in the future I think that'll really help me."
Following stormy weather on Friday, much of the field were forced to head straight onto round three on Saturday after completing the rain-delayed second.
By the end of the day, Robert Streb, Hunter Mahan, Tom Lovelady and Troy Merritt shared the lead at 18 under, leaving the competition wide open.
Streb shot a round of 63 with nine birdies, while Mahan carded a 64 and Lovelady a 65.
Merritt could only manage a three-under 69 - but his first-round score of 62 kept him well in contention.
Sam Ryder, Blayne Barber and Billy Horschel make up the chasing pack, just one shot behind, while another two players sit on 16 under overall.
