Seamus Power is seven off the lead heading into the final round of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas.

The Waterford man hit a trio of birdies on the back nine on the way to carding another 71 in the third round, although his progress was halted somewhat by successive bogeys between the second and fourth hole.

He's now chasing joint leaders Beau Hossler and J.J. Spaun.

Young American Hossler fired a bogey-free five-under-par 66 in tough conditions on Saturday to tie overnight leader Spaun.
Hossler, finished with birdies at the 15th and 18th holes to reach nine-under as the wind whipped up during the third round at the TPC Summerlin course.
Spaun had a more challenging third round with three bogeys in his first five holes and another at the 17th leaving him with a two-over 73 and a share of the lead.
The 27-year-old was three clear of the field when bad light prematurely ended the second day's play but will now be on level pegging with Hossler on Sunday as they battle it out for what would be a maiden PGA Tour victory for both.
Spaun and Hossler are three clear of compatriot Tony Finau, who shot a 69 for third place. Four players were in a share of fourth at five-under.
