Justin Thomas clinched the FedExCup on Sunday, claiming a £10 million bonus for winning the season-long points race on the PGA Tour.
Thomas started the Tour Championship second in the standings behind Jordan Spieth, but passed his countryman by finishing four strokes better at East Lake.
The PGA winner finished second behind Tour rookie Xander Schauffele in the Tour Championship.
Schauffele sank a two-foot foot birdie putt at the final hole, his ball catching the edge and circling the cup before dropping in. He carded a 68 to finish at 12-under-par 268, with Thomas posting the same score to lie one shot back.
