Pádraig Harrington hit a third round 65 at the Travelers Championship Championship but remains nine shots off leader Daniel Berger heading in to the final day.
Harrington, who just made the cut yesterday, claimed four birdies on the front nine and also picked up shots at 15 and 18, where a dropped shot on the 523-yard 13th was the only blot on the copybook in Connecticut.
American Berger shot an eight-under-par 62 to claim a three-shot lead with Scotland's Russell Knox tied for second on 12 under, alongside Tyrone Van Aswegen and Russell Henley, after recording a 64.
Patrick Rodgers was alone in fifth on 10 under with Englishman Paul Casey and Brooks Koepka a shot further back.
Due to the threat of thunderstorms later in the day, a two-tee start was applied with the players going out in threes.
Berger, who began in a four-way tie for the lead, carded nine birdies as he continued to shine after recovering from a recent shoulder injury.
