Shane Lowry is relishing his first taste of life in a team environment as he looks to start the year on the right foot at the EurAsia Cup this week.
Darren Clark captains Europe as they looks to win the tournament outright after the inaugural EurAsia Cup back in March 2014 ended in a 10-10 draw.
Lowry - the only Irishman on the team this time around - is hungry to start 2016 as he means to go on, and is targeting Major glory after a hugely positive year.
“It’s nice to be here," said the Offaly man. "The environment is a little bit different. As professional golfers we play a lot of individual stuff and it can become a very selfish game so to be in a team event and to be rooting for the lads is going to be nice this week.
“I don’t set a lot of goals I just try to prepare as best as I can for everything. Last year was great. I’m going to be in all the Majors so hopefully I can win a big one.”

Lowry finished in the top 10 at the US Open at Whistling Straits last year and won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone, as well as breaking into the world's top 20.
Now he's ready to kick on again, and said the buoyant mood in the European camp has him in the mood to hit the ground running.
“We play around the world together; it’s a great group of lads. Darren had got that across a lot – we need to take this seriously as a team.
"We don't want to be going home Sunday evening with our tails between our legs. We’re looking for a win. We’re all very competitive people.
“I always like taking a break at Christmas and getting the hunger back for the game. I’d a few days in Dubai to practice before here and I’m back enjoying my golf. I’m really looking forward to the year ahead."
