Great Britain and Ireland took a 7-5 overnight lead into today’s second and final day at amateur golf's Walker Cup at Royal Lytham & St Anne's.

GB&I led the United States 3-1 after Saturday's morning foursomes and still held a two-point advantage after the afternoon singles.

Saturday’s format is repeated on Sunday, with morning foursomes and afternoon singles in the afternoon.

Paul Dunne of Ireland came in to the competition with a big reputation, but he has yet to collect a point having been beaten twice on Saturday.
