United States captain Jay Haas has selected five-time major winner Phil Mickelson and his son Bill Haas as his two picks for the Presidents Cup in October.

His opposite number Nick Price went for Australian Steven Bowditch and Bae Sang-moon of South Korea to complete the 12-man International team line-up.

Anirban Lahiri, Thongchai Jaidee and Danny Lee will make their cup debuts next month after they secured their places as automatic qualifiers for the International team.

The top 10 players for the International and United States teams were determined with the conclusion of the Deutsche Bank Championship on Monday, and saw India (Lahiri) and Thailiand (Jaidee) represented for the first time in the event's history.

South Korea-born New Zealander Lee will doubtless be a crowd favourite when he returns to Incheon City, where his family still lives, for the competition - a team, match-play format featuring 24 of the world's top golfers - from 6-11 October.

The International team consists of the top 10 international players (non-US and non-European) from the world rankings as of 7 September 2015, plus the two captain's selections.

The US team comprises the top 10 American players who earned the most FedExCup points from 13 September 13, 2013 through September 7, 2015, with points earned in 2015 doubled, plus the two picks.
