Latest leaderboard (External site)
Leaders: Dufner, Bradley (-5). Irish players: Harrington (+2), McIlroy (+3), McDowell (+12), Clarke (+14). The cut is +4.

2314 Australia's John Sendon joins the chasing pack on four-under after 15 - he's on two-under for the day.
2302 Verplank takes another birdie at the 12th to take the lead on six-under. Another Harrington par at the 16th. Woods is now nine-under.

2249 Stricker and Verplank still lead on five-under after 12 and 11 respectively. Harrington is playing some steady golf and hits another par on the 14th to stay on three-over.
2238 Stricker finds a birdie at the 11th to join Verplank at the top.
2223 Verplank makes a good par at 10 to put his hiccup at the ninth behind him - still leading by one on five-under. Dufner, Scott, Points and Stricker still closest.
2219 Harrington (+3) pars the 13th while Woods (+10) makes a birdie but it's far too late now.
2208 Verplank three-putted the ninth to drop a shot and now lies on five-under to lead by one.
2205 Harrington gets through the 12th on three-over and remains on target for the cut, while it leaves Woods on 11-over.
2202 Another double-bogey for Woods at the 12th, he went into the trees twice with a couple of wild swings.
2158 Stricker saves par at the tenth with a good up and down, while Jason Duffner is into joint-second on four-under after 14.
2153 Stricker, Scott, Points and Jobe are on four-under, chasing leader Verplank who is on six-under after eight.
2147 Harrington stays on three-over after 11 holes.
2145 Stricker drops another on the ninth and he's off the lead. He's now on four-under through nine, while Verplank (-6) takes the lead outright with a birdie at the eighth.
2140 Woods double-bogeys the 11th, although it could have been worse, but that looks like the end of his Championship. Nine-over now.
2136 It's falling apart for Woods on the 11th. He's gone from bunker to bunker to water and his frustration is showing again.
2130 Stricker has now hit three bogeys on the first eight holes as the pressure begins to tell - Scott, Stricker and Verplank now share the lead at five-under. Harrington stays three-over after 10.
2119 Scott continues his fine form today and joins Verplank in second place. Scott is four-under for the round after 12.
2114 Verplank rolls in another birdie to move into second outright on five-under after six. Harrington made par on the ninth.
2108 Woods is making a fight of it anyway with his second birdie in a row - now at seven-over.
2103 Verplank joins the second placed players on four-under with a birdie at the fifth.
2058 Harrington drops another at the eighth - three-over.
2056 Stricker drops one at the relatively easy sixth hole, a very manageable putt just slips by and he now leads by two.
2052 Woods (+8) claws one back with a great putt on the eighth - he'll need more of that to make the cut.
2042 Stricker moves three ahead again though with a birdie at the fifth.
2040 Points, Scott, Love and Kelly are two off the pace on four-under. Woods (+9) bogeys the seventh.
2033 Love makes birdie again, this time at the seventh and is now two shots off the lead on four-under - Harrington makes par, while Woods isn't happy at all and has a short putt for bogey...
2022 Open champion Clarke, who did not have a single birdie in rounds of 78 and 76, is looking forward to a break saying: "I'm done. I won't look at my clubs for 10 days. I'm just shattered."
2020 Harrington showing fight to get back to one-under for the day with a birdie at the fifth.
2017 Stricker drops a shot at the third hole - now six-under, while John Sendon moves to four-under after a birdie through 12.
2015 McIlroy, who confirmed he will continue despite his injured wrist, said afterwards: "I feel as if I can make birdies out there. If I don't think I could contend I probably wouldn't be playing. And if it wasn't a major I probably would have stopped yesterday."
2009 Love III moves into the top-ten on three-under with a birdie on five.
2007 Woods over-hits his approach to the fifth for an awful lie in the bunker - that leads to a dropped shot for eight-over. Mountain to climb now for the former world number one to make the cut. Mickleson is one-over after seven.
2000 Harrington drops a shot at the fourth hole and is now three-over, while Woods stays seven-over.
1950 Stricker (-7) makes par at the second to maintain his two-shot lead. Kelly (-5) makes par at the first.
1945 Harrington and Woods again make pars, this time on the third. A solid start for both - Harrington (+2) playing to get into contention, while Woods (+7) is playing to make the cut.
1933 Stricker pars the first to stay two clear of Jerry Kelly who has yet to tee off.
1928 Harrington and Woods make par on the second, while Australia's Adam Scott has had a great start to his round and is three-under through five for a four-under total.
1922 Denis Forde, a big "G Mac" fan seemingly, has just emailed from Mother Reilly's pub in Rathmines, he says the pints are a lot more satisfying than Irish performances in the golf. Nina, he says he'll be home soon...
1915 Leader Steve Stricker has just begun his round, while McDowell's day went from bad to worse - he finished with a 78 to end up on 12-over, while Clarke ends up on 14-over after a 76.
1907 USA's D.A. Points finished in third place overall, dropping a shot at the last for a four-under.
1903 Harrington goes to two-over after a birdie at the first - putting from about 20 feet, while Woods went from one bunker to another on his way to saving par with an excellent putt to stay at seven-over.
1852 England's Lee Westwood has played his way back into contention, finishing his round on one-under after a 68.
1850 Harrington, Woods and Davis Love III have just begun their second rounds - Harrington finds the fairway but Woods is in the bunker...
1845 Phil Mickleson is up and running for the day - taking par on the first to stay one-over.
1835 McDowell has held par in his last two holes and is nine-over after 16. He'll be hoping for a birdie in the next hole or two with his weekend coming to a premature end.
1828 McIlroy has just finished his round with a good par four for three-over overall. He had a 15-foot putt for birdie but it drifted to the left of the hole, much to his apparent surprise.
1820 And it's getting worse for McDowell who is now on nine-over after 14 holes.
1815 Denmark's Anders Hansen is best of the Europeans at the moment and has just finished for the day on three-under after a 69. He's tied for fourth alongside Scott Verplank.
1810 Tiger Woods is on the putting green at the moment and will be teeing off in a short while. He's on seven-over and a good performance on the first few holes will be crucial if he's to put yesterday's performance behind him and make the cut.
1800 McIlroy hits an eight-footer for birdie and gets back to two-over par.
1750 Hansen is on three-under with three to play and still the leading player from Europe.
1745 Lee Westwood has got back to level par after 11 holes. He is not a man to rule out. There is so much depending on Steve Stricker's round. An interesting evening is in store.
1735 There are just five holes left for Rory McIlroy. He is on the par-five fifth hole now and a chance to pick up a shot to try to guarantee a place for the weekend.
1730 Thanks to my colleague Donal Moriarty for asking about the cut. He is currently at a wedding in Cavan. An interesting fact about Donal is he is the only man at the wedding wearing a one-piece suit. The first guest to find the zip wins a free pint.
1725 The projected cut is three-over but I think it might fall to four-over the way things have been going. Any player within 10 shots of the lead (currently seven-under) will also make it. There are 63 players three-over or better. The top 70 usually make the cut so we'll see how scores progress.
1721 Graeme McDowell (+7) has hit nine pars in 11 holes, along with a bogey and double bogey. He has seven holes left to try to earn a spot at the weekend. More on the projected cut now.
1720 Darren Clarke (+13) drops two more shots at 13. McIlroy (+3) knocks it in for par.
1711 A total of three players have withdrawn from the tournament today. Retief Goosen (illness), Rocco Mediate (arm) and J.B. Holmes (illness) have pulled out.
1709 Justin Rose's (+6) hopes look to be over after dropping five shots in 13 holes so far.
1706 McIlroy slides to three-over and 66th place as he takes two in a bunker at the the third and bogeys.
1705 From iaincartergolf on Twitter: "Westwood bogeys two so slips back to level par. Missed for par from 12 feet after difficult up and down."
1700 Hansen (-4) and Points (-4) are staying the course through 14 and 10 holes respectively.
1651 McIlroy (+2) hits another par at the second hole. Clarke (+11) drops a further stroke. The sooner his tournament ends the better you would think!
1648 From iaincartergolf on Twitter: "Westwood birdies 1st (his 10th) -2 for round and -1 into tie for 13th with the toughest part of the course already played".
1647 Geoff Ogilvy (+2) is three-under through the back nine while Kevin Na (level) has picked up two shots in the opening six holes.
1645 I suppose this is how. Heath Slocum carded an 80 on Thursday but he has made four birdies in eight holes today. That is the best score of the day so far. Six over now.
1643 Martin Kaymer (+6) is also four over for the day. He has gone through 13 holes. How can I not be negative?
1639 Camilo Villegas seems to be a player tipped at the start of every major, without ever producing the good on a consistent basis. The Columbian had a good day yesterday at level par. I'm afraid he has made bogey at 10, 14, 16 and 17 so far. Four over now.
1632 Rory McIlroy makes par at the first hole. McIlroy has been removing his hand from the club at certain shots which clearly show he is feeling the effects of the injury. I wonder will he return for the weekend if he is considerably out of contention by the end of the day.
1628 Anders Hansen moves to four-under along with DA Points. Hansen is the leading European player with Matteo Manassero next on two-under. The Italian has yet to tee off.
Pablo Larrazabal and Johan Edfors are one-under, putting in good rounds so far. Edfors is two-under for the day through 13.
1625 I've been branded the most pessimistic live updater ever by Ronan Walsh via e-mail. Perhaps I have been a bit negative. I'll go look for some positives...
1624 Clarke (+10) will not be returning this weekend as he finishes the back nine two-over.
1620 Rory has recovered with a par at 18th but his round has been ruined by finding the water at the previous hole. The front nine is better for scoring so perhaps he can make it up in the coming holes. It does not look good for the Irish golfers as things stand.
1610 DA Points has become the first player on course to hit four-under after a third birdie of the day. Points is now in outright third position.
1604 It is going horribly wrong for the Irish golfers as Graeme McDowell makes a six at 16. He is seven-over overall now.
1602 Another Englishman, Simon Dyson, picks up his first birdie of the day at seven to go to three-under.
1600 Lee Westwood has progressed to level par, one-under for the day through seven.
1554 It's a nightmare for McIlroy as he makes triple bogey at 17 after finding the water. That drops him back to two-over and title hopes gone you would think.
1550 From @iaincartergolf on Twitter: "I'm hearing Rory has found water on 17. In this heat that's not necessarily a bad thing, but in this case it is."
1545 Shaun Micheel was excellently placed at the start of the day but he has dropped five shots in eight holes to move to one-over.
Fans of Aertel will understand this means cutting his name off our leaderboard. Strangely I consider this one of the best parts of the job.
1540 McDowell (+5) is still one-over for the day along with Darren Clarke. Disaster for Sergio as he hits a double bogey at 17, the hole McIlroy and co are now teeing off on.
1537 Brilliant by Rory to move under-par at the 475-yard par-four 16th. That is his second birdie of the day, one-under now.
1527 McIlroy record his fourth par of the day at the par-three 15. Clarke follows up McIlroy's effort with the same score. We're still waiting for a breakthrough but these are some difficult holes. That was a 260-yard par-three so a three is a decent effort.
1524 Brandt Snedeker has been penalised two shots for being late on first tee. He is now six over.
1520 Anders Hansen and DA Points move to three under par after nine and four holes.
1517 McIlroy has missed birdie chances of nine and seven feet on the last two greens. He needs to start taking these chances.
1515 Charl Schwartzel (-2) has been showing McIlroy and Clarke how to do it. He is three-under through his five holes with birdies at 10, 13 and 14.
1510 McDowell drops his first shot of the day at 13 to go back to five-over par.
1500 All smiles for Rory McIlroy (level) and Darren Clarke (+9) with another par score, this time at the par-four 14th.

1502 Sergio Garcia (level) continues to impress with another birdie, his second of the day after six.
1454 Anders Hansen (-2) is currently the highest ranked player on course. He is in a tie for fourth spot, level par for the day after seven.
1446 Par for McIlroy (level) and Clarke (+9) at their fourth hole. McIlroy looks uncomfortable at some shots so he is obviously playing through some pain.
1441 McDowell (+4) makes par at hole 10 and 11 in an encouraging start. He is another man that needs plenty of birdies today.
1440 Padraig Harrington and Tiger Woods are due out at 6:45pm by the way, together with David Love III.
1434 It gets worse for Darren Clarke as he records a bogey at the same hole. He is nine-over par now in a tie for 143rd.
1430 Birdie for McIlroy at the 12th to get back to level par!
1428 Former winner Shaun Micheel had been third on his own at four under when he resumed, but he bogeyed the 10th and 11th before coming back with a birdie at the long 12th.
1424 Sergio Garcia has made birdie at his third hole to get back to one-over par.
1415 Leader Steve Stricker tees off at 7:15pm. It will be interesting to see if many players can match his score from yesterday.
1410 Par for McIlroy and Clarke at the 11th. They move on to the par-five 12th and a good chance to pick up a shot.
1405 Jhonattan Vegas has made a great start to his round. The Venezuelan has picked up two birdies in his four holes so far to move to two-under.
1355 Clarke has made par at the same hole. He needs a good round to avoid the cut, projected at two-over. I expect it to go higher as the day goes on.
1350 McIlroy has made bogey at the first hole despite the excellent tee shot. This was the start he didn't want after a three-putt. He is now one over.
1343 Clarke is on the green at his first hole with McIlroy as well-placed. Good start for the Irish golfers.
1337 Rory has teed off with a huge media entourage at hole 10. Remember he trails Steve Stricker by seven shots so a big day is needed.
1327 It looks as if Rory is going to play after coming through practice.
1321 McIlroy is on the range with his wrist heavily bandaged.
1318 Darren Clarke is due out with McIlroy at the same time. Graeme McDowell is due out at 1:55pm.
1312 He was due out on the driving range around now but still no sign of him ahead of his tee off.
1305 Rory McIlroy (level) is due out on course at 1:35pm for his second round but there is a huge doubt about his participation due to a damage tendon.
