How did Rory McIlroy’s Masters Tournamant final round collapse of 80 unfold exactly? Read on below to recap events.

First hole: McIlroy makes a bad start with a bogey five and his four-stroke lead is down to two instantly.

Second hole: Drives into sand and hits the lip coming out. From 250 yards his third was pulled into another bunker and while he was delighted to splash out to five feet and save his par five he suddenly found himself only joint leader as Charl Schwartzel produces an eagle two.

Fourth hole: Misses from three feet for a five at the 455-yard fifth.

Seventh hole: A 15-foot putt gives him a birdie.

Ninth hole: Two-foot par putt gives him a one-shot lead - and an outward 37.

Tenth hole: His hooked drive hits trees and flies over in between the cabins way left of the fairway - and not far from the tee. After his next shot he still needed a wood, but went left with that as well, then with his pitch caught another tree before chipping and two-putting for a triple-bogey seven.

Eleventh hole: Three-putts for bogey.

Twelfth hole: Four-putts the 12th for a double-bogey five to be seven over for the round - five under for the tournament and in 11th place, five off the lead.

Fifteenth hole: Drops another shot at the long 15th with a bogey six.
