Cavan's Leona Maguire is the first round leader of the Portuguese Ladies Amateur Open Championship.
In good conditions with a light breeze in Aroeira, Leona Maguire started on the back nine and was four under at the turn and carded a final six under 66 to lead by two shots from Karlijn Zaanen of the Netherlands.
Sister Lisa shot a round of 71 and is tied fifth while fellow Irish players Gillian O'Leary, Emma O'Driscoll and Charlene Reid all carded an opening round score of 75.
The 40 lowest scores over the first 54 holes including qualify for the final round on Sunday next.
