Scotland's amateur golfers are one round away from completing a remarkable double.
Wallace Booth, Callum Macaulay and Gavin Dear take a four-stroke lead over the US into the final day of the World Amateur Team Championship in Adelaide.
Their performance follows Colin Montgomerie and Marc Warren giving the Scots their first World Cup triumph last November.
Level with the Americans at halfway, Dear hit back from his non-counting 80 in the second round with a one-under-par 71 at The Grange and Booth, brother of Curtis Cup player Carly, continued his superb week with a 69.
That meant the 73 of national champion Macaulay could be discarded and Scotland moved onto the 21-under-par total of 413.
American Rickie Fowler continues to lead the individual race, a 70 taking him to 12 under and one ahead of Booth, but team-mates Billy Horschel and Jamie Lovemark managed only 74 and 75 respectively.
Wales dropped from fifth to 10th with 74s from Rhys Enoch and Ben Westgate having to count as Nigel Edwards struggled to a 76.
England slipped from seventh to 12th after Dale Whitnell and Luke Goddard scored 73s and Sam Hutsby a 75, while Ireland are 17th after Shane Lowry's 73 and Johnny Caldwell's 74. Paul Cutler crashed to a 79.
Leading scores:
413 Scotland; 417 United States; 421 Sweden; 423 New Zealand; 425 Australia; 426 Italy, Spain; 428 France; 429 Netherlands; 431 Wales, South Africa; 432 England. Other: 436 Ireland.
