13-year-old identical twins Lisa and Leona Maguire, from Cavan, have qualified for Europe's Junior Ryder Cup team after finishing first and second at the European Young Masters.
Lisa scored a 54-hole aggregate of 214, five under par, to beat her sister and Spain's Anna Arrese by four.
The match against the Americans takes place at Olde Stone in Kentucky on 15-16 September at the start of the week in which Nick Faldo's team defend the Ryder Cup at nearby Valhalla.
Kelly Tidy, of England, and Denmark's Daisy Nielsen will be the other girls in the side, while French duo Stanislas Gautier and Julien Brun led the boys qualifiers and are joined by Germany's Moritz Lampert, Spain's Adrian Otaegui, England's Chris Lloyd and Italian Matteo Manassero.
