Third time lucky for Crowe

It was third time lucky for Darren Crowe at the South of Ireland Championship in Lahinch today when he won the final against Joe Lyons.

The Dunmurray man was playing in his third final in a row of the competition and finally achieved victory after edging out Joe Lyons by a single hole.

Crowe defeated Royal Dublin's Niall Kearney 3 and 2 to make the final, while Lyons accounted for Castletroy's Stephen Maloney 2 and 1 in his semi final.
