The exciting run of 12-year-old Lisa Maguire in the Lancome Irish Ladies Close Championship has come to an end.
Maguire was beaten on the final hole at Lahinch by Marian Riordan of Tipperary this morning.
Maguire had led by one going to the ninth but Riordan birdied that hole and closed out the match at the 18th.
Riordan will now face Carlow's Karen Delaney in the final.
Delaney was a one hole winner over Maura Morrin in the other semi-final.
Both players had led during the match but Delaney went ahead at 16 and held on for the win.
