Irish golfer Philip Walton has missed out on a tour card for next season after failing to make the cut at the European Tour qualifying school.
Walton finished tied for 81st place on four-over-par. The top 70 players plus ties continue into the next two days of play, with the top 30 after the last two rounds earning places on the Tour next season.
David Higgins finished tied for 55th place on two-under-par, and will be hopeful of gaining a tour card.
