Rory McIlroy remains on course to defend his Irish Amateur Close Championship at the European Club in County Wicklow.
The teenager from Holywood, County Down, overcame Connor Doran 2 & 1 in this morning's semi-final to set-up a place with Simon Ward in the final later this afternoon.
Ward got the better of Paul O'Kane 2 & 1 in his semi-final.
