England's Tom Whitehouse still leads at the European Tour School at the San Roque Club today, on nine under par and two shots clear of his nearest competitor.

Meanwhile, the Irish challengers will take no part in the final two rounds to decide who will take the thirty European Tour cards on offer, with none of them close to getting near the necessary top-70 position.

Eamon Brady lies in joint ninetieth on 11 over par and is the best place of his countrymen, while John Kelly finished on 13 over after a fourth round 77.

Philip Walton's hopes of retaining his card for a second year are over as he fired a 77 in round four to end on 20 over par.
