He lies on nine under with David Patrick of Scotland after recording a fine 69 at Arlandastad this afternoon.
Stuart Davis of England is two strokes behind the leaders facing into the final round while Mark Pilkington, Edward Rush and Jaakko Makitalo are a further one behind.
Stephen Browne is one of nine players tied for 15th place on one under after firing a 70 today.
Justin Kehoe is six over and tied for 65th place.
