Donegal's Brian McElhinney has made it to the final of the British Amateur championship at Royal Birkdale.
The 22-year-old had defeated Gary Lockerbie 2 & 1 in their quarter-final before dispensing with Oliver Fisher by one hole in the semi-final.
On the other side of the draw, Scotland's John Gallagher beat Lloyd Saltman – who had earlier seen off Dunmurry's Darren Crowe – to advance to the final.
